There are few names that strike as big a chord as Antonio Vendome whenever one is considering the New York real estate market. Antonio Vendome is, for all intents and purposes, a real estate legend. Popularly known as Nino, Antonio Vendome is a real estate mogul who has had much success in the industry from managing properties in downtown Manhattan and Queens, New York.

About the Legacy of Antonio “Nino” Vendome

Raquel Vendome: Filling the Shoes of a Real Estate Giant

When Raquel Vendome entered the world of real estate, she was naturally compared to her legendary father. Upon entering the real estate market, the pressure to find her own place in the sunlight while honoring the legacy of Antoni Vendome before her became all too real. Still it was not long before Raquel Vendome found herself taking on the impossible and doing so well. After all, she was under the tutelage of her legendary father.

Through her own real estate initiatives, Raquel has been able to work alongside the company her father had built from the ground up so many years ago. Currently, Raquel is working alongside Antonio on the “Habitable Sculpture” project. To be constructed along York Avenue and 62nd Street, the project is proposed to be a modern-day high rise suitable for a residential and commercial complex. The project is the developmental project of her father’s long-time collaborator — Mr. Phillip Johnson’s last sculpture. At the end of the project, the sculpture would be a 26-story condominium that will bear the moniker “The Habitable Sculpture.”

Growing Pains: The Road to Now

Unsurprisingly, Raquel did not simply end up where she is today because of her legendary father. Instead, her story reads a little topsy-turvy as she initially struggled to find her own place in life and within the real estate space. Raquel Vendome attended Locust Valley High School and later studied at Lynn University in Boca Raton. At Lynn, she majored in Early Childhood Education in an effort to pursue her passion for working with children. Still, although she was pursuing her passion and love for children, Raquel still struggled in the back of her mind between continuing in her passionate pursuits or serving her father’s real estate empire. Eventually, it would be the desire to carry on a legacy that her father Antonio Vendome had worked hard to build.

Since taking the plunge to follow in her father’s footsteps and work alongside his real estate empire, Raquel’s most thrilling project to date is the one she is currently working on — “The Habitable Sculpture.” Her current work on the “Habitable Sculpture” project, is expected to be a landmark piece thanks to its unique approach. The intricate exterior detail which will feature angular sides and tubular cube structures, for example, will make it a standout among almost all of today’s structures.

As Raquel Vendome pursues this project and others alongside her father, she works to uphold the values of honesty, diligence, and integrity as these are all values she watched her father embodied as he worked to build his empire.
