Women run 30% of the world’s businesses, but make up only 5% of the executives at large corporations. Research proves that corporations see financial benefits when they have larger population of female executives. Women are considered as being more honest and ethical. They also provide fair pay and benefits as well as pay more attention to mentoring employees all of which lead to higher employee engagement and greater growth. I really enjoyed scanning through this infographic. Until now I wasn’t aware how much easier it is for my brain to process this information instead of ‘linearly’ reading a text.
A society who neglects its capacities (here: in gender) will not thrive. I approve the fact that more woman taking their rightful place in these positions. Performance is simply not gender related.
However, I very much doubt that any person – may it be Sheryl Sandberg or not – has a worth of $1.1billion. That is absurd!
